Flat European parquet markets during the first half of 2025, but the bottom seems to have been reached in 2024

The Board of Directors of the European Parquet Federation, FEP, met online, on 23 October 2025, and discussed, amongst others, the parquet situation on the European markets.

The situation has generally continued to slightly improve during the first part of the year, but is slowing down a bit since the summer. All in all, European parquet markets are flat.

The sector is coping with rising costs, especially for softwood, energy and wages.
