Besides industry’s own efforts to explore sustainable substitutes and alternatives to oak, FEP calls EU authorities to limit this raw material exports


As already stated in our Press Release dd. 14 June 2022, the European parquet markets progressed significantly in 2021. 

Unfortunately, they already show decreases for the first part of 2022, reflecting the difficulty to fill in orders. This phenomenon is reported by most of the FEP members who are facing issues of wood supplies and has been highlighted by FEP Chairman, Lorenzo Onofri, in his FEP 46th General Assembly opening speech.
