With the “Living on Wood” project, the European Federation of the Parquet Industry, FEP, wants to put real wood flooring back into the spotlights and give it the prominent place in the market it deserves.
A website, www.realwood.eu, informing about all aspects of real wood flooring destined to the general public is already accessible in an English, German, French, Polish, Spanish, Dutch and Hungarian version.
Other linguistic versions are being prepared in co-operation with the national associations and respective FEP member companies.
The FEP secretariat is proceeding with the introduction of the “Real Wood” logo, entailing the following obligations:
Companies that want to use the real wood label have to send a duly completed “demand for registration” and a duly signed copy of the “Rules applying to the use of the ‘real wood’ logo” to the FEP secretariat:
Upon receipt of the demand the FEP secretariat will check the documents for completeness and, if necessary, ask for more details.
If the demand is granted, the licensed company will receive the following information/documents:
For FEP members, no extra license fees will apply, as these are covered by the annual contribution for membership.
Please do not hesitate to contact the FEP secretariat for any queries you may have regarding the “Living on Wood” project or the introduction and use of the “Real Wood” logo.
